Honestly, I expected this to be nothing special… the kind of gimmicky thing you buy, use once or twice, and then forget about. I’m definitely guilty of that. I’m pleasantly surprised to say that I was wrong and I’m obsessed with this. The design is so simple and easy to use and it really makes the often time-consuming task of applying a scalp serum/oil a breeze. The serum I’ve been using for more than a year now comes with a dropper and it takes forever to get it evenly applied and you have to use your fingers to scrub it into the scalp with I don’t like. With this, you simply pop off the silicone top, pour the serum in, replace the top, remove the bottom cap and brush along the scalp. It applies just the right amount of product, feels great and cooling thanks to the metal prongs, and gets even coverage on your scalp in literal seconds. I love it and I’m sure you will too!

Getting older means my hair isn’t as thick as it used to be, so I have joined the club of people buying hair growth oil. Problem is it is hard to get it on the scalp without causing a huge mess. Enter this applicator. The top opens and you poor the oil in there, and then you take the lid off the bottom and rub around your scalp, as the oil comes out of small holes in the metal. The applicator works really well and doesn’t leave a huge mess. I highly recommend this applicator!

I've recently started using Mielle Organics Rosemary Mint oil to nourish my scalp but applying it manually didn't feel very efficient. I ordered this hair oil applicator to get the oil directly to my scalp instead of all over my hair. It is exactly what I needed in that I can pour the oil into the little reservoir without it leaking all over and after some practice, push the rubber button on top to get the right amount of oil to my scalp. Fortunately, I don't have to measure the amount of oil I'm adding because the measuring lines on the side are difficult to measure with. It's a compact little dispenser with a cap to keep the remaining oil from dripping all over. I use the oil 2x/week and then clean the dispenser out after the second use. Easy to figure out how to use which is good because the included instructions are in Chinese. At $24, it seems like a good value for how well it works.
